Random words can be heard usually in Russian or English but they are few and far between. But if you listen closely, every once in a while a voice is heard interrupting the broadcast. When tuning into the station, all that can be heard is a quiet buzzing tone occasionally interrupted by a foghorn-like sound. The radio stations source has been narrowed down to a couple of places in Russia but nobody has come forward claiming the station. UZB-76 (AKA UVB-76) has been broadcasting every single day since the late 1970s and nobody knows where its coming from.
